- Profile: Women from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Challenges: Gender discrimination, limited access to resources and education, domestic responsibilities.
- Needs: Economic empowerment, skills development, Small-scale livestock farming knowledge, and financial independence.
3. Farmers and Livestock Keepers
- Profile: Smallholder farmers and individuals engaged in livestock keeping.
- Challenges: Limited access to modern farming techniques, lack of veterinary services, market access.
- Needs: Improved farming practices, sustainable farming techniques, adequate veterinary services, and market linkage
4. Unqualified Livestock Service Providers
- Profile: Individuals providing livestock services without formal qualifications or training.
- Challenges: Lack of formal education, limited knowledge of modern techniques, and credibility issues.
- Needs: Professional training on livestock health management, certification, skill enhancement and sustainable and ethical practices in animal care.
5. Pet Animal or Companion Animal Owners
- Profile: Individuals or families who own and care for pets, such as dogs, cats, birds, and other companion animals.
- Challenges: Lack of information on proper pet care and nutrition, Difficulty in identifying and managing health problems, limited access to pet care services, and balancing responsibilities.
- Needs: Require knowledge of nutrition and feeding practices, basic veterinary care, behavior management, grooming, legal aspects, and animal welfare.
